OOTW:Valentines Date Night!!!

valentines

With valentines day approaching I thought that I would dedicate this weeks OOTW to the lovely holiday! I think that this look would be perfect for a date night or even just celebrating with friends.

This dress is right up my street, it is simply stunning and the red roses give this dress such a romanic flirty feel, Black And Red Rose Print Skater Dress With Stud Detail from Yours Clothing for £30.00. So flattering for a plus size figure too!!

Screen Shot 2015-02-07 at 10.53.01BIKER JACKET- Simply Be £65, this is so classy and gives this particular look an edge and also in my opinion, gives this outfit a more youthful look, Me personally I think this would be great to wear to and from a date and then once you arrive let the dress do the talking!

Pretty Polly Curves Bow Backseam Tights £10.00 (Bought from ASOS Curve range), these tights are so cheeky and flirty not to mention sexy!! If you've got the legs or the confidence I think these look so stunning!

New Look Wide Fit Option Black Elastic Shoe Boots £19.99 (Bought from ASOS). The platform makes these shoes a bit more comfy and as they are in wide fit they give a little extra comfort. The cut outs on these shoes give them a more formal/dressy feel and would look amazing  with those tights too!

ASOS CURVE 2 Pack Black/Nude Super Skinny Waist And Hip Belt £3.50, I love synching in my waist with a belt, it draws the eye to the smallest part of your waist so it therefore gives the illusion that you are slimmer than you are. Simple but effective!

Miss Selfridge TRES CHIC CLUTCH £16.99, this is a modern twist on a classic piece, it injects a bit of fun into the outfit but its not overpowering or tacky!

No outfit would be complete for a Valentines date night without MAC's Ruby Woo! £15.50, Add a bit of drama to the look!

So that is my OOTW, hope you have enjoyed it and have a great Valentines day! How are you spending Valentines Day? What items will you be wearing?

Zuzka Natural Beauty Skincare Review!!

DSC00246

About four weeks ago I received a lovely skincare package from Zuzka Natural Beauty. I love trying new skincare products as skincare is very individual and its nice to try new products to see what works for you.

DSC00248

I was kindly sent their Dermacare Coconut Cream Cleanser (£20.00), Cool Blue Contour Day Cream (£34.99) and their Organic Precious Oil For Oily/Problematic Skin (£18.00).

Firstly I love the packaging (the colour is a favourite of mine!) and I love how the packaging is expensive looking which makes the product feel more indulgent and spa like.

DSC00254

The first thing I decided to try from this range was the Organic Precious Oil For Oily/Problematic Skin, this is one of Zuzka Beauty's best selling product which claims to have outstanding results for oily/problematic skin. This is a concentrated formula of calendula, soya & jojoba oils blended with organic essential oils including lavender, tea tree & lemongrass.

I applied (as directed) 4 drops of the oil into my hands and then massaged my face and neck, You are advised to do this in the evenings to give the oil time to penetrate into the skin.

At first I was a bit sceptical about putting an oil onto my skin as I do suffer from oily patches, the next day my skin felt more plumped up as if it had just had a injection of moisture and my red, irritated spots were less inflamed and looked a lot calmer.

DSC00250

I love their Dermacare Coconut Cream Cleanser, this has completely changed my skincare routine, I alternate between this and REN'S Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is a lovely creamy cleanser that feels very luxurious on the skin. My skin feels very nourished and  calming. I have always suffered with dry flaky patches on my nose and this combined with ForYou Skincare' E1 Exfoliator has completely removed the flakiness.

I still have a decent amount of this cleanser left as you only need a little and I will be very sad when I get to the bottom of this bottle!

Me and moisturisers either seem to get on like a house on fire or not, when I tried Zuzka Beauty's Cool Blue Contour Day Cream it was defiantly a match for me and my skin. I found the day cream to be very moisturising however it sank into the skin quickly and didn't sit on the surface so it didn't make my skin look greasy.

Since using Zuzka Beauty Skincare my skin feels noticeably softer and the redness has calmed right mown, not to mention my blemishes have faded dramatically!

I have loved trying this brand, have you tried Zuzka Beauty skincare before? What skincare item could you not live without?

Over the last few months I have noticed an increase in comments on my posts and also noticed that I have regular commenters that regularly read and comment on my blog!

Blogging is more than talking about the latest products etc, its about the community and supporting other bloggers, thats why I think that when someone who has taken the time to read my post is great but if they have taken even more time and effort and left a comment it genuinely makes my day, it lets us as bloggers know what our readers think and its great to get to know each other!

I am always overwhelmed with such lovely comments so I know I am not a well known blogger etc but I would like to share with you, my readers, the blogs behind some of the lovely comments that have been left on my posts.

I genuinely appreciate everything that blogging has gave me and just wanted to share with you some great blogs that you should take a little time out to have a read and show your support!

My Coloristiq Experience!!

DSC00258 DSC00259

We have all heard of the beauty subscription boxes and even now, thanks to Wifty.co.uk, jewellery subscription boxes. So imagine my surprise when I found out that Coloristiq offer a nail polish subscription box with a twist!

DSC00270

I love experimenting with different nail colours, textures and effects from all brands, whether that be high end or high street. I don’t know about you but, at the age of 27 I have never finished a bottle of nail polish (unless I have left the lid off and it has dried up!) so justifying spending a lot on a nail polish can be quite difficult.

DSC00269

That’s where Coloristiq comes in, it is a monthly subscription box which costs £14.99 per month. Each month you receive 3 nail polishes from high end brands like China Glaze, Essie, OPI and Morgan Taylor etc, you get to use the polishes all month up to 3 applications per bottle and then after the 30 days you return the box by post and you then get to a new box to try the following month!

[caption id="attachment_1078" align="aligncenter" width="628"]Screen Shot 2015-02-03 at 21.33.13 Image taken from https://coloristiq.com[/caption]

I love this idea, like I say you never normally use a full nail polish and if you do find that you love a particular polish you can then purchase it with the knowledge that you have tried it before so you know what to expect.

I was lucky enough to be sent a box to sample and received these three amazing polishes, very wearable and all three only needed one coat before they became opaque!!

This is such a lovely coffee shade, very smooth and creamy, O.P.I's 'You don't know Jacques!'

DSC00276

This defiantly has to be my favourite shade China Glaze's 'De-Light' amazing gold sparkles that completely cover the nail! This was one coat!

DSC00281

This colour reminds me so much of Dorothy's slippers in the Wizard of OZ, O.P.I'S 'Define Good'.

All three polishes I received are stunning and this has to be one of my favourite subscription boxes out there at the moment!

Have you ever tried anything like this before? What subscription box do you like the best?
